Karel Steiner was born in Prague, studied in the United States and opened his first studio in New York. At present he lives with his wife and three children in Paris, France. He currently works in both Paris and Prague. Karel also teaches photography at Parsons School of Design in Paris, and gives photography seminars at ICART PHOTO.
